Ninety-year-old Olive Adams smiles as she celebrated her birthday with five generations of her family.

 

Olive celebrated at Epworth House Care Home in Thurnscoe, where she is temporarily staying.

 

Born in Denaby, Olive moved to Thurnscoe with her parents and worked in tank factories during the Second World War.

 

She married Tom Adams who died about seven years ago.

Olive, of School Street, has also worked as a cleaner at Gooseacre School.

 

Her son Brian, 67, of Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, said she had enjoyed seeing her family.

 

She is pictured celebrating with Brian, granddaughter Cheryl Eades, 47, great granddaughters Rebecca Gomersal, 25, Hayley Eades, 22, and great great grandchildren Addison Gomersal, two and Italia Midgley, one.

 

Olive also has a daughter, Margaret Calderbank, 69.
