FORMER Olympic skier Chemmy Alcott passed on the secrets of her success to students when she visited Barnsley Academy.
Now retired from international competition, Chemmy was ranked eighth in the world and took part in four Winter Olympics, most recently Sochi in 2014.
During her visit to the academy, Chemmy shared stories about her career and gave insights into developing the skills needed to tackle life’s challenges, with an inspirational presentation focused on creating a ‘growth mindset’, building self-confidence and embracing fear.
