AN INVESTIGATION into alleged police brutality against picketing miners at Orgreave in 1984 - including hundreds from Barnsley - is set to go ahead.
A delegation from the Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign met home secretary Amber Rudd this week to press the case for an inquiry.
The government says it will review the so-called Battle of Orgreave but the format is yet to be decided.
