Ben Pearson has extended his loan at Barnsley until March 8.
The 20-year-old central midfielder from Manchester United has played five games for the Reds since joining in January and got his first career goal in the 2-1 win over Port Vale.
Pearson is on a youth loan which can be extended outside the usual transfer windows and on a month-by-month basis.
