All six of the Barnsley boxers in action at the Metrodome on Friday night recorded wins.
Robbie Barrett, from Darfield, retained his Central Area lightweight title with a comfortable points win against Ismail Anwar. The southpaw showed his class to gain revenge against Anwar, who'd taken his unbeaten record two years ago, with a 98-93 decision.
Ben Davies closed out the show with a thrilling win against Frankie Borg. Dodworth middleweight Davies stopped Borg in the ninth of ten scheduled rounds.
There were points wins on the undercard for the other Barnsley boxers Andy Townend, Jack Churchill, Tony Cruise and debutant Ryan Hinchliffe.
Full report, reaction and pictures in next Friday's Chronicle.

We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
