David Perkins has called on Barnsley to ruin Hull City's promotion party at Oakwell tomorrow.

The Tigers will be backed by almost 6,000 fans and they could need just one point to secure promotion to the Premier League depending on Watford's result at Leicester.

But Perkins believes Barnsley can spoil the celebrations. He told the Chronicle: "Hull will be coming here looking to win. They've got a lot to play for but so have we.

"I watched a bit of them against Bristol City last Friday and it was a bit of a boring game. We know it's in our hands and that if we win both our games then we'll be in the division next season.

"We'll dig in and look to beat Hull. They're obviously a good side but we know we can beat anyone on our day, as we've already proved this season."
