POLICE are investigating after a man was stabbed on Tuesday lunchtime.

 

Police were called at about 12.55 following reports a man had been injured in Wellington Crescent, Worsbrough, Barnsley.

 

The 27-year-old man was been taken to hospital and treated for a serious stab wound. It is not believed to be life-threatening.

 

It is reported he was in an altercation with another man. The second man is thought to have left the scene and officers are in the area making enquiries.
