POLICE in Elsecar have responded to reports of antisocial behaviour by arresting a 14-year-old boy and increasing police patrols.
Police Community Support Officers have been patrolling Welland Crescent in Elsecar for the past two weeks and will continue to do so over the coming weeks in an effort to tackle an ongoing problem.
Officers have been responding to calls from residents of gangs of youths throwing stones and eggs, kicking down gates and shouting abuse.
