TEENAGE gangs congregating in Shafton Park have been stopped after a six-week police campaign.
The matter, which was a former priority for the Barnsley East Local Policing Team (LPT), prompted regular PCSO patrols to take place to stop incidents from happening.
But now the measures have discouraged rowdy teens from using the play area, off High Street, and big improvements have been noted according to Dave North, the chairman of Shafton Parish Council.
