EXTRA police attention will be put into tackling nuisance gang behaviour near a Barnsley fast food restaurant.

Persistent issues of antisocial behaviour around the McDonald’s and Asda supermarket areas off Old Mill Lane was raised at the North / West Local Policing Team.

Problems in the past have included teenagers urinating and vomiting in the street, drunken antics, shouting and swearing. There has also been issues with partygoers being rowdy late at night after going out in town.

It is the third consecutive month nuisance behaviour in that location has been made a policing priority by the community safety members, which means extra attention will be focused on those areas including increased patrols.
