PROBLEMATIC parkers will be monitored in Royston.
Residents on Vicarage Lane, St John’s Walk and Midland Road have reported issues with cars - allegedly parents of children from both Parkside and St John’s Church of England schools - parking outside residents’ properties.
The matter was brought to the last crime meeting at Outwood Academy, Carlton, by local councillors and John Craig, from Royston’s Neighbourhood Watch, who called for police patrols to be carried out to address the problem.
Sergeant Brad Wynne confirmed that foot patrols will take place and an update will be given next month.
