SOUTH Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) is giving people the chance to have their say about public transport information, travel stops and interchanges in the county.

Faced with the need to make budget cuts SYPTE wants the public to give their view on how it delivers its services, and how they might be delivered in the future.

The consultation, called 'Have Your Say', will ask people about the journeys they take on public transport, what tickets they buy and how they buy them and how they like their public transport information to be delivered.

It also wants to know what people think about transport interchanges, bus stops and customer services.

Passengers can take part online at sypte.co.uk/haveyoursay. Paper copies will also be available at Barnsley Interchange and there will be roadshow at the interchange on September 17.

David Young, SYPTE deputy interim director general, said: "The feedback we get will help us to plan how we deliver these services in the future."
