TWO MPs have been named as panellists on Question Time when the flagship show comes to Barnsley later this month.

It will be the first time the BBC political debate show has visited Barnsley when it is filmed at The Civic on December 14 in front of an audience of about 100 people.

Panellists in Barnsley will include Conservative MP Nicky Morgan and Labour MP Rebecca Long-Bailey. The rest of the panel is expected to be made-up of political commentators and well-known public figures.

The show’s host David Dimbleby said: “I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to Barnsley. What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind. It’s a chance for Barnsley to get its voice heard not just by politicians but right across the UK.”

People from the borough can apply to be part of the audience via the website, bbc.co.uk/questiontime or by calling 0330 123 9988.
