SCHOOL pupils and staff across the borough have got their red noses on today as they raise money for Comic Relief.

Today is Red Nose Day, a national day of fundraising set up by charity Comic Relief to help vulnerable people and communities in the UK and further afield.

And children throughout Barnsley’s schools will be decked out in red and taking part in all manner of games and activities.

Some are doing things slightly differently - pupils at Summer Lane Primary School have made colourful clothing for their teachers to wear, while staff at Oakwell Rise Primary Academy (pictured) have taken part in a series of silly challenges including pillow fights and discos in classrooms.
