Barnsley have made Spanish left-back Daniel Pinillos their second signing of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old joins from Spanish second tier club Córdoba on a two-and-a-half-year deal. He spent the previous two seasons at the Reds' Championship rivals Nottingham Forest, making 35 appearances and scoring an injury-time equaliser against local rivals Derby County.

Pinillos is now one of six first team full-backs at Oakwell along with fellow left-back Zeki Fryers, who is currently injured, as well as Andy Yiadom, Jason McCarthy, Dimitri Cavare and Matty Pearson.
