Barnsley have made their first signing of the January transfer window with Kieffer Moore signing a three and a half year deal at Oakwell.

The in demand striker, 25, had a productive loan spell at Rotherham United in the first half of the season where he netted 13 goals in 25 appearances.

His services were in demand and it's Barnsley who have beaten off the likes of Rotherham, Bradford City and Peterborough United to the Ipswich Town targetman.

Moore started his career in his native South West with Truro City before spells with Dorchester Town, Yeovil, Viking in Norway and Forest Green Rovers before moving to Ipswich.

He was recalled from his loan spell by Barnsley-born Mick McCarthy before an undisclosed fee was agreed with The Reds.
