HE is three years old and described as ‘very bright’.
But like many toddlers Alfie the dog can throw a hissy fit and a temper tantrum when he doesn’t get what he wants.
Volunteers at Willow Dog Rescue at Wath believe it is this character trait that has led to them failing to find a new home for Alfie who has been left languishing in their kennels for 18 months.
However they are determined to find the tan and white terrier cross a loving home and are even prepared to pay for a dog trainer to help any new owners help Alfie to settle down and settle in.
