A REWARD offered for the safe return of two stolen dogs has more than doubled to £8,200 following pledges from two anonymous donors.

Jacqui Millson's two dogs Zala and Zeus, a husky and a white German shepherd, were stolen from her home in Rockley View, Pilley, on December 22 and she has since featured in the Chronicle, national newspapers and on TV as part of a high profile campaign to find them.

The reward has continued to rise and was at £2,000 per dog when a woman offered Jacqui the money to double it to £4,000 per dog. On Wednesday she received another pledge for another £200 meaning the total reward now stands at £8,200.

I am completely overwhelmed," said Jacqui. "I can't tell you how much this search is taking out of me both emotionally and physically but I won't give in." More than 17,000 people follow the page Find Zala and Zeus on Facebook.
