A ROAD has been closed following a major collision earlier this evening.
Emergency services were called to the A616 Whams Road at 6.15pm following reports of a serious collision.
A road closure is currently in place on the A616 Whams Road, close to Holmfirth, which is expected to be in place for the next couple of hours.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes if travelling through the area.
