DELAYS to external works outside Barnsley College’s flagship sixth form building has been caused by problems taking out an old concrete road.
Works around Shambles Street and St Mary’s Place are continuing, albeit slower than originally planned.
Barnsley Council said this is due to the difficulties in removing the old concrete road whilst digging around a number of services.
