A ROMANTIC rock climber popped the question on a mountain overlooking the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu in Peru.
Alan Blakeman and his partner Lynn Evrard, 52, were on the trip of a lifetime in the Peruvian Andes when dedicated rock climber Alan got all loved up.
The couple had already done the famous Inca Trail and were on the last day of a 19-day trip. They were with two friends going up Wayna Picchu, a peak high above Machu Picchu.
Alan, 65, runs BBR Auctions at Elsecar Heritage Centre.
