A ROOFING firm has been left £10,000 out of pocket after determined thieves literally 'peeled back' side doors on its vans to steal valuable tools.
Craig Fenton, of Fenton and Fenton Roofing, based at Wharncliffe Business Park, Athersley, is warning other Transit van owners to be vigilant after three belonging to the firm were broken by offenders employing the unusual technique.
He said: "If a one-man band was targeted, what with the difficult times we're in, it could finish them."
