A WOMAN who enjoyed the dance floor well in to her twilight years has danced her way to 100.
Ruth Hamby celebrated her milestone birthday on Monday with close family at Water Royd Nursing Home, where she is a resident, where staff organised a party for her in its dementia cafe.
Ruth, who lived in Dodworth all her life before moving to the Gilroyd home, was thrilled to receive a card from the Queen and two birthday cakes - one from staff and another from her family.
