SAFETY campaigners say they fear a child will be seriously injured unless changes are made to what they say is a deadly junction.
Barugh Green Pre-School charity has lobbied the council, police and MP over concerns about the crossing next to traffic lights and crossroads on Barugh Green Road.
They describe the situation as ‘unsafe and dangerous’ and say already this year there have been several near misses involving young children trying to cross the busy road.
