Wath Comprehensive School was on a high with a 98 per cent pass rate in its A Level results.
Half of those who passed on results day last week got grade B or above.
"We've got a couple of our students off to Oxbridge which is always pleasing," said deputy headteacher Rick Powell.
"Only a few students have missed out on going where they wanted. So on the whole we have had a good year and have improved again."
Leading the way with results was Chad Parkinson who got A*s in English Literature, History and General Studies and As in Maths and English Language. He will read law at Cambridge.
Adam Stott, from Thurnscoe, plans to become a doctor after getting a place Durham University with A*s in Biology and Maths and an A in Chemistry.
"I'd like to thank the science department for bringing me on. I was struggling in biology at one point but I ended up with a top mark," said Adam.
Suki Lee, from Parkgate, is heading for a microbiology degree from Leeds on the back of two As and a B, while Abbie Bembridge, from Mexborough will study pharmacy at Bradford.
