A SCHOOLGIRL has inspired her mother to build a network to help those with children who have eye problems.

Molly Mason, nine, had a squint from birth and later tests showed the vision in her left eye was much stronger than in her right.

Mum Joanne said: "When Molly was diagnosed I was appalled at the lack of information and advice that was available.

"My aim is to develop a support network for families, parents and carers of children with a visual impairment who may also have other difficulties or disabilities."

Playgroup taster sessions are between 10am and 11.30am on April 27 and May 18 at Buddies Children's Centre, Burton Road Primary School where Molly is a pupil.
