SHEFFIELD Road has been closed in both directions due to a serious incident.
A police spokesman said emergency services were responding to reports of a serious collision in Sheffield Road, Worsbrough.
The spokesman said: “Police were called at around 4.20pm today following reports that a Land Rover and a motorcycle had been involved in a collision, close to the junction with Knowle Road.
“The motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries and a number of roads are closed while emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, respond to the incident.”
