DEARNE rockers The Sherlocks are about to embark on their biggest UK tour yet.

The Bolton-upon-Dearne band, consisting of brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson, have announced a nationwide tour starting next year.

The group released debut album Live For The Moment in August, debuting in the top six on the Official UK Album Chart.

The lads will be starting in Leicester on February 1 and finishing in Manchester, the closest stop to their hometown on February 16.

They were the first unsigned band to sell out Sheffield’s Leadmill and have supported The Libertines and The Kings Of Leon on their UK tours.

The band will also be releasing new single Will You Be There on November 3.

Brandon said: “It’s about the notion of when you’re doing well and everybody wants to know you, as opposed to when you’re going through a rough time and people jump off board and forget you.

“We’re asking who will be the ones still there because they truly believe in what we’re doing? ‘Will You Be There’ seemed like the title to sum the whole thing up.”

Tickets for the UK tour go on sale today at 9am, available through www.thesherlocksmusic.co.uk
