Big Brother star Sian Hamshaw saved herself from eviction after winning this week’s final game-changer.

The 25-year-old waitress had been facing the public vote along with Akeem Griffiths, Cian Carrigan, Tomasz Wania and Brooke Berry. All five – plus Zoe Jones – took part in the game-changer challenge in which they had to walk along a series of balance beams raising flags along the route to win points. Sian and Brooke finished joint top, with Sian eventually going on to win the tie breaker.

As a result, Sian was able to save two housemates from facing eviction, and chose to save herself and Brooke. This means the final three facing the public vote tonight are Akeem, Cian and Tomasz.

Earlier this week, housemates were asked by Big Brother to make positive nominations, instead of nominating someone for eviction. Akeem nominated Sian, saying she was a genuine person.

He said: “Sian positively impacts my time in the house because I see that there are a lot of similarities between us. She’s a very genuine person. What you see is what you get on the tin. She will always help others as much as she wants to be helped and she’s very good at talking to people. I really do have a lot of time for Sian.”

Cian also positively nominated Sian saying she was a motherly figure. He added: “I’ve would miss my little chats about how she sees things and how I see things because we both kind of see things similar in this house. It’s good to have someone of that mindset to make you realise you’re not going crazy or your thoughts aren’t wrong. I would miss that. She’s just got a lovely presence about her.”

Sian nominated Brooke, who she said was a lovely, hilariously person.

“She’s been the closest person to me throughout this whole experience. I wouldn’t be able do it without her,” she said. She also positively nominated Cian who she described as energetic and happy.

“I want to be around him all the time. It would be a very serious house without him.”

Also this week, viewers saw the friction between Sian and Lewis F continue. And when Cian told Sian he was upset Lewis hadn’t been evicted, Sian said: “I don’t want to be the one he goes up against now.”

Tomasz also told Sian he would help her if he had the choice, after she said she was nobody’s priority but nobody’s enemy either. But she said: “I don’t feel that way anymore. I feel good, I feel so much better. I just had a really down day. I feel really close to everyone.”
