A GROUP of Slimming World consultants from Barnsley got the chance to meet TV chat show host Alan Carr when they were enjoying their successes.
Alan co-hosted the annual Slimming World Awards in Birmingham where he met consultants Claire Carnall, Jen Crossland, Danielle Newman, Sonja l’Anson and Dorothy Key who all run groups across Barnsley.
Claire said: “The members at our group make me burst with pride, not only have they seen big changes on the scales, many have improved their health and completely changed their lives too.”
We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
