BUS operator Stagecoach Yorkshire has announced a number of service changes for Barnsley and Dearne Valley to be introduced in September.
Services 1 from Barnsley to Staincross, 6 from Barnsley to Kendray and 11 from Barnsley to Athersley North will revert back to normal timetables and run up to every 10 minutes.
Minor timetable changes to improve punctuality will also be made to services 8/8a from Barnsley to Worsbrough Dale, and to early evening timings for 12 from Barnsley to Athersley South.
A new timetable will be introduced on services X19 from Barnsley to Doncaster, with the section Doncaster and Robin Hood Airport to be withdrawn after the loss of a South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive tender and rwill eplaced by a new service, the X4 which will be provided by First.
