A STUDENT on a work placement raised more than £2,000 through organising a charity fashion show.
The Civic hosted a fashion show in partnership with Barnsley Hospice.
Events management student Emily Ritchie successfully managed the event as part of her work placement at the Civic.
The great 'girls night out' show featured Barnsley Market's very own the Closet Queen, along with items from the Barnsley Hospice charity shops.Table tickets for the event sold-out almost instantly and the event raised £2,025 altogether for the Civic and the Hospice.
