RESIDENTS are invited to give their views on crime and anti-social behaviour in the Barnsley through a survey created by the Safer Barnsley Partnership Board.

SBPB is a partnership between Barnsley Council, South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, National Probation Trust, South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group.

Through the survey, the partnership hopes to understand the public’s view of crime and anti-social behaviour in the borough.

This information will be used to plan the next set of priorities that the partnership will focus on in 2019-2020.

Coun Jenny Platts, a member of the council’s ruling cabinet, said: “I would encourage everyone to take part in this survey. The information given helps the partnership to see the full picture of what residents are experiencing and help them to build resources and plans that tackle local issues, helping to build a better Barnsley.”

Residents who don’t have access to the internet are advised to visit their local library to access the online survey which closes on September 30.
