A TAEKWONDO club with a membership of just ten people is sending two of its stars to compete in a European final in September.
Friends Matthew Guest and Kai Law, both 14, will be travelling to Budapest for the contest after being selected to represent Great Britain.
The development is an accolade for the Lion Taekwondo club which trains at Kirk Balk Academy and coach Daniel Flesher, 25, who is responsible for developing the boys’ skills.
And although two competitors from the same club appearing in the same contest is unusual, neither lad is a stranger to success - with each one having racked up a collection of around 50 trophies.
