A CUDWORTH street which has become a hotspot for drug use will receive more attention from police, it has been announced.
A recent estate inspection, which saw Couns Sir Steve Houghton, Charlie Wraith and Joe Hayward visit areas around Belmont, prompted complaints to be made at the last Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting.
One Belmont resident, who did not wish to be named, said drug use has become ‘rife’ on the street and urged police to conduct more patrols.

It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
