A TEACHER says he has been ‘dumped’ by the only school he’s ever worked at after 21 years without a word of warning.

Littleworth Grange Primary is now run by Outwood Grange Academies Trust - the organisation credited with ‘turning around’ nearby struggling secondary schools at Carlton and Shafton.

But teacher Wayne Camden says the changeover has put him out of work.

He wrote to the Chronicle this week saying: “May I take this opportunity to thank the community of Lundwood for all their kindness and support over the past 21 years that I have taught at Littleworth Grange Primary School.

“Whilst I still feel I have much to offer, the current management of the school, for reasons known only to themselves, have decided that my services are no longer required.

“I would like to wish all the pupils, both past and present, the very best and thank them for all the memories which I shall cherish.”
