A TEDDY bear maker from Brierley is gearing up to exhibit her work at a prestigious show in London.
Kat Hartley, of Brierley Road, will showcase her cuddly toys at the Hugglets Teddy Bear Festival at Kensington Town Hall on September 10.
She has been designing and creating handmade bears for 12 years under the name Brierley Bears, amassing a reputation to be proud of.
Kat said: “Brierley Bears are one-of-a-kind that I both design and make in Brierley.
“It’s an event that I have wanted to do for many years, but never plucked up the courage to apply for. As you can imagine, I was over the moon when the organisers contacted me to ask if I would like to attend.”
