A 16-YEAR-OLD who pleaded guilty to wounding a boy during an altercation in Royston will be sentenced later this month.

The teenager, who cannot be named due to his age, was charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.

He appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday and has been granted conditional bail ahead of his sentencing on March 29.

The victim, also 16, sustained non-life-threatening injuries on Doles Crescent at about 9.50pm on February 2.
