THIEVES have left a ten-year-old disabled boy heartbroken after taking his off-road buggy.

Mackenzie Lodge, from Rectory Lane, Thurnscoe, loved the sense of freedom on his buggy, which let him take control and drive it off road.

But thieves have taken that chance away from him after stealing the £7,500 buggy, along with a trailer and an Itz 90 Suzuki quadbike, in a raid on the storage container at J and S Commercial, on Manchester Road, Milhouse Green where it was stored.

Dad Gary Lodge said the thieves had taken nearly £10,000 in valuables, with the dual control adapted buggy particularly difficult to replace.
