A Barnsley bar is stocking the world’s strongest lager and at 67.5 per cent proof it certainly packs a punch.
00 Bar, on the Victorian Arcade, is the only place in town you can buy the super-strength Snake Venom beer.
As you might expect, the brew, made by Scotland’s Brewmeister, is not the cheapest of drinks and the bar is only legally allowed to sell it in 35ml measures.
But despite the £10-a-go price tag it appears to be going down well with punters after the bar posted to its Facebook page asking people if they are man enough to take on the biting brew, which if you’re wondering is recommended to be sipped rather than supped.
