BARNSLEY town centre will never look the same again.
As the £130m Better Barnsley project speeds up the physical appearance of the town centre is about to radically change.
Over the next few weeks Henry Boot Construction will start to remove the old concrete panels from the exterior of the Metropolitan Centre, using a crane to lift whole sections, starting from the balcony at first floor level.
