A TOWN centre road will remain closed to allow for the second stage of works to be carried out.
Eastgate will be open for access only and vehicles will not be able to enter the working area, which is the middle section of the road.
The one way system is still revoked and access will be from either end of Eastgate. Priority signing for vehicles will be in place at narrow sections.
The second phase of the closure will be in place for about two weeks.
