DISCUSSIONS are underway to work out how to ease pressure on reception class places in the town centre following the demise of Elements free school.
Wellspring Academy Trust announced last Thursday that plans for the new school had been scrapped indefinitely due to difficulties in finding a site and not enough pupils signing up.
It had been due to open in temporary accommodation at Barnsley College's former Belle Vue House campus this September before transferring to a new building for September 2016.
