TOXIC turkeys have been stolen from a pen in Darfield - which if eaten will make the diner ill.
Nine-year-old Charlie Keenan kept the three rare Pied Crollwitzer turkeys in his garden on Edderthorpe Lane.
But last Friday night, someone entered the adjacent farmer’s field, ripped open the mesh on the pen and took the birds.
Victoria, Charlie’s mum, said the birds were too young to eat - and medication they had been on meant they would make anyone who did ill.
