FITNESS fanatic Tracy Seeley is taking on four big challenges for charity this year.

To support Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Tracy, from Stairfoot, will be running the London Marathon and Bluebell Wood Colour Dash in April.

Then she will be taking on the National Three Peaks challenge and the London to Paris cycle ride in July.

Bluebell Wood supports children and young adults with life-threatening and life-shortening conditions.

Precision Dental practice manager Tracy is giving herself just five days to recover from the London Marathon in April before taking on the 5k Colour Dash.

Then on July 7, Tracy, a colleague and a friend will be trekking Scafell in England, Ben Nevis in Scotland and Snowdon in Wales in less than 24 hours.

Just a couple of weeks after that, on July 28, she will be cycling the London to Paris Cycle Ride. The 300-mile ride will arrive in Paris on July 29 in time to watch the arrival of the Tour de France.

Tracy, 44, said: “When Precision Dental wanted to support a charity, Bluebell Wood was suggested to us. We came to look round and were blown away by what we saw. “I’m a keep fit freak, I love any sort of challenge. A team of us took part in the Pedal to Poolsbrook cycle ride, I did the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Bluebell Wood last year and I’m thinking of doing that again this year as warm up for the National Three Peaks event.

“I’m terrified of heights but I think the adrenaline will keep me going on the climb.”

Bluebell Wood community fundraiser Anna Gott said: “We’re in awe of Tracy’s commitment, and her determination to do all four challenges for Bluebell Wood. She really is an active superstar. Every pound she raises will help make a difference to families across the region facing the toughest of times.”
