GMB general secretary Tim Roache, regional secretary Neil Derrick, TUC regional secretary Bill Adams and newly-elected TUC chairman Joanne Thomas were all present for the protest.

Ken Perritt, of XPO Logisitics, which runs the ASOS site, previously told the Chronicle said the company takes its responsibility as an employer seriously.
