TALLY HoÉ despite pouring rain folk turned out for the traditional Rockwood Hunt meet in Upper Denby on Boxing Day.
Only die hards turn out to gather at The George Inn, for a couple of hours to greet friends, have a walk and drink and wait for the hounds and riders to arrive for the annual Stirrup Cup before setting off across the fields.
But the supporters were rewarded when the rain finally stopped and out came the sun.
Landlord Tony Wyatt distributed mulled wine not just to the riders but the large crowd too.
