A WORKING Men's Club could undergo a holy transformation - from a house of booze into a house of god.
It may not look like a traditional place of worship but a religious group in Barnsley has been given the go ahead to turn Ashfield Working Men's Club, Kendray, into a church.
The Seventh Day Adventist Church, based at a converted house on Sackville Street, has been given approval to change the use of the Doncaster Road working men's club.
