THE FAMILY of a popular radio DJ and entertainer who died have paid tribute him, saying he was a wonderful person who loved making people happy.

Graham Steventon died in hospital, aged 64.

He also ran two social groups for the elderly in Wombwell and Sheffield, organised trips and presented two weekly shows on We Are Barnsley radio, under the name Graham Stevens.

His daughter Victoria Paterson, 31, of Doncaster, said: "My dad touched people's lives. He always believed in having children's parties and made them affordable because he knew money was tight for people and he wanted them to have fun for a couple of hours. He just loved to entertain people and make them happy.

"He was part of so many people's communities and cared about them all."
