TRIBUTES have been paid to Barnsley FC sponsor Kevin Beckett whose sudden death aged 48 has left his family heartbroken.
Mr Beckett, the joint owner of principal shirt sponsors dismantling firm C K Beckett along with brother Chris, 51, died on Wednesday.
The cause of death is not yet known and a post mortem is expected to take place today.
He leaves behind a large family including two daughters in their 20s.
The family has requested privacy at this time but a family spokesman said Mr Beckett, who lived at Shafton, had returned from a golfing trip to Portugal on Monday.
